Next month NeNe Leakes will be switching gears from reality TV to the morning news, joining Atlanta's WXIA-TV's 11Alive. Labeled as a special correspondent for the early morning show, Leakes won't be tackling the tragic oil spill in the Gulf anytime soon, but will instead interview special Atlantans, recommend restaurants and music venues, and other "fun features," according to the station VP, Ellen Crooke. Leakes has been interviewed several times on the station, most recently when she lost her home.
