Today, Procter & Gamble's successful My Black is Beautiful television series returned to BET for a second season (Sundays, 1:00 PM, EST). Hosted by actress Tasha Smith, singer Leela James, actress Kim Coles and TV personality Alesha Renee, the six-episode show is an extension of P&G's My Black is Beautiful campaign, which celebrates all the dynamic, beautiful qualities of Black women. The debut episode pays homage to various Black style icons and honors the 30th anniversary of Black Barbie. We can't wait to check out the rest of the season, which will feature Project Runway finalist Kara Saun mentoring an aspiring designer; fitness expert Jeanette Jenkins demonstrates easy, at-home exercises; and Cookie Johnson showcasing her CJ by Cookie Johnson Jeans line.
