A month after shattering ratings records with the bestseller-turned-television-movie, "Sins of the Mother," and a week before her latest film, "Why Did I Get Married Too?" hits theaters, songstress Jill Scott is set to tackle yet another complex character. Tonight, she guest stars on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" as a woman whose disabled sister is raped while under her care. "These days, I'm looking for characters that are far from [who I am]," admits Scott, who shares billing with both Quinton Aaron ["The Blind Side"] and Lisa Arrindell Anderson ["Madea's Family Reunion"] for the episode. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" airs tonight at 10/9c on NBC. Read more:
