Today’s topic: Going green Dear Kim, Currently, the interior of my entire home is painted roasted almond, which is really light and shows dirt. The hardwood floors throughout the kitchen, living room and dining room are dark cherrywood. The kitchen has cherrywood cabinets with black countertops and black appliances. The bedrooms have light crme color carpet. All the doors and crown molding inside my home is white. I want to change the paint color of my home to a medium green color such as Antiquity but I’m not sure if this color is too dark. Which paint colors would you suggest? Thanks! Tiffany KIM MYLES: Hi Tiffany, I’m not sure about Antiquity since you didn’t say which paint company makes it. But, I love soft greens, and here are two shades that are lovely and rich without being too dark: ‘Rejuvenate’, and ‘Southern Breeze’–both by Behr. Read more:
