Dr. Conrad Murray
is expected to plead not guilty to involuntary manslaughter--in connection with Michael Jackson
's death--in front of a Los Angeles judge today at 1:30 PST, TMZ
reported. Fans have begun to gather outside of the Del Aire courthouse for Murray's arraignment. According to local L.A. news reports, members of the Jackson family are also scheduled to attend today's proceedings. According to TMZ, the LAPD plans to have 20 officers at the courthouse to control the crowd. Apparently there is some interest in Murray's safety, as many fans associate him with the death of the most beloved pop star. A bail bondsman is expected to be at the arraignment and will post bail for Murray. Murray will most likely leave L.A. after the hearing and head to Las Vegas or Houston, TMZ reported.
