Talk about an endorsement of the highest possible order. Designer Isaac Mizrahi is over-the-moon that First Lady Michelle Obama
chose to wear a long-sleeved plum-colored dress by the famed fashionista. In a video blog
on his site, Mizrahi says we should start calling the "exquisitely beautiful" creation "the State of the Union A-Dress." "It was the right dress at the right moment," he says. "That's what fashion is all about." Mizrahi also points out that the First Lady chose to wear a purple dress which is a blend of red and blue. "It's not left not right it was kind of like a bipartisan dress," he says. Mizrahi has previously predicted that First Lady Obama would be the "Carrie Bradshaw" of the next 10 years, because "she's going to be an unbelievable ambassador for fashion."
