ESSENCE is putting together a RELATIONSHIPS ROUNDTABLE featuring single women AND single men. We are looking for SINGLE men and women: Applicants must be: *ages 25-45 *live in the New York tri-state area (or will travel) *available for interviews in NEW YORK CITY the week of January 25, 2010 *willing to speak frankly about relationships *fit into one of the following descriptions: SINGLE WOMEN: "I only date Black men" Description: you hear all the talk about dating "out" and you are not interested. At all. You are looking for your Black Prince Charming and will not consider men of other races/colors. You're ready to commit, but can't find Mr. Black and Right. "I don't date Black men" Description: You tried to date Black men and you had one bad experience after the other. You exclusively date non-Black men and are proud of it. "I am looking for love in whatever color I find it" Description: You are looking for a good man regardless of his color. You're single, frustrated, but hopeful about finding love. SINGLE MEN: "I only date Black women" Description: Nothing floats your boat like a Sister. You'd like to have a lady to call your own someday but you are frustrated in your search.
