Jennifer Hudson Holiday Special on ABC Tonight

When it comes to spreading holiday cheer, J-Hud is bout it bout it. "It hurts me so when I see people like, 'Whatever, Christmas is just another day,'" the bubbly new mom tells People.

"I'm that person who's going to go over there and get you into the holiday spirit. And that's how I've always been."

Her first TV holiday special, "Jennifer Hudson: I'll be Home For Christmas" airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC and features the Chicago native going back to her roots, visiting family and the church choir where it all began. Despite losing her mother, nephew and brother last year, she says she's going out of her way to make sure her 4-month-old son David Daniel Otunga Jr. has a merry first Christmas.
