Oscar bloggers are not feeling Mo'nique's recent comments about the
Oscar campaigning process. On her show last month, the "Precious" star
asked Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson whether it's worth
campaigning for a Best Supporting Actress since the job's already done.
She also asks whether winning an Oscar means more money. "Let me ask
y'all this, because I know y'all are gonna school me correctly," she
says to Henson and Howard. "What does it mean financially?"
Mo'nique's absence from
film festival premieres and 'Precious"
campaign stops is causing some to wonder whether she's willing to do
what it takes to win.
It's just two months before Oscar
nominations are announced and suddenly there's a stink about Mo'nique's
comments. Sounds like someone is starting their own whisper campaign.
