It’s a girl for “Saturday Night Live” funny lady Maya Rudolph. The actress, who’s film “Away We Go” is about a free-spirited couple planning for their first child, gave birth to her second daughter Lucille on November 6, 2009, People.com reported. Rudolph, 37, and her director husband Paul Thomas Anderson, 39, waited until delivery to learn the sex of both Lucille and their older daughter Pearl, 4.
“Because when you’re ready to throw in the towel and you’ve got nothing positive to think about or feel, because you’re so heavy and you want to float in a pool of salt water to be buoyant, it was nice to have something to look forward to,” Rudolph told David Letterman of keeping the baby’s sex a secret.
Congratulations Maya and Paul.
