Tiger Woods was scheduled to appear at a press conference for his Chevron World Challenge golf tournament, which begins today, but his car accident in front of his home on Friday November 27 has changed all that. The Chevron World Challenge team is providing refunds to Tiger fans who do not wish to attend the competition since the golf star announced he wouldn’t participate in the event. They’re also offering a 20 percent discount for next year’s tourney for those who keep this year’s tickets, AP said.
With regards to the ongoing investigation into the accident, the Windemere, Fla. Police Department says no blood was found in Woods’ Cadillac Escalade, although he claimed that the injuries he sustained, including a split lip, were due to the crash, according to TMZ.
