'Our Lives Have Been Destroyed,' Say Crashers

NBC's Matt Lauer interviewed Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the couple that attended the White House Official State dinner uninvited, on the "Today" show this morning. The couple is standing by their claim that they "were invited" to the event.


Michaele and Tareq Salahi continued to claim that they "were invited" to the Official State Dinner at the White House on November 23 in an interview with Matt Lauer on the "Today" show this morning.

"Our lives have been destroyed," Michaele Salahi said. "...there isn't anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that."

The Salahi did not reveal who invited them to the event, but said they're working with the Secret Service in their investigation.

Lauer asked the couple about Senior Pentagon Official Michelle Jones'  statement that she told the Salahis they did not have tickets to the event.
