MillerCoors Donates $1.3 Million To Black Colleges

Brewing company MillerCoors has donated $1.3 million to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to support the 47 Historically Black College and Universities nationwide. The Fund raises money for the colleges and also supports leadership development and capacity-building.

"As the founding corporate sponsor, MillerCoors recognizes the importance of supporting the next generation of political leaders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs," said Larry Waters, director of multicultural relations at Miller Coors.

The Thurgood Marshall Fund has raised $100 million for HBCU students over the past 22 years.
