Is Serena Williams a bad girl? The tennis world is still debating. A month after letting her emotions get the best of her and yelling at an official after a bad call during a semi-final round at the U.S. Open, the champ appears nude on the cover of ESPN magazine's new body issue.
Though she apologized for the outburst and was fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct, Williams isn't completely out of hot water, as the International Tennis Federation investigates her behavior and could make her pay back the $560,000 she won from the tournament and suspend her from upcoming Grand Slam tournaments.
Williams isn't letting the event slow down her career, and is excited about the magazine cover.
"ESPN told me I had a great body and they wanted me to be on the cover, so I was super-flattered," she said, according to the Associated Press. "But I wanted to do it really classy and not trampy. I thought it was a really tasteful picture... I love it.—CJ
