Oprah Winfrey Teams with Chris Rock on New Movie

Ever been asked to be someone's Black friend? Well, a GQ senior correspondent set out to do just that and wrote an article for the magazine called "Will You Be My Black Friend?" And now mogul Oprah Winfrey is getting in on the action as her company Harpo Films teams up with Lionsgate to produce the movie adaption of the article, which will star Chris Rock.

"We're thrilled to continue our relationship with Oprah Winfrey and Harpo Films, said Mike Paseornek, president of Lionsgate. "We can't imagine a better actor to help bring this story to life than Chris Rock, who is simply one of the smartest, boldest comic talents working today."

Oprah Winfrey is also executive producer of the much-anticipated film "Precious."—CJ
