Eighth-grader Ty'Sheoma Bethea captured the hearts of America and the attention of the First Family when she wrote a letter to President Obama asking him to save her dilapidated school in South Carolina earlier this year. Things have continued to look up as President and First Lady Obama invited her to the D.C. to hear the President speak, her school has been improved by a private donor and now she has been offered a full scholarship by Langston University, according to the Associated Press.—CJ
