The downpour hovering over General Motors is now being mixed with baseball-size hail and a monster of thunder. The embattled automaker has announced it will cut 21,000 more jobs, say bye-bye to Pontiac by 2010, and scrap more dealerships in an effort to restructure the debt, according to CNN. The news that Pontiac will no longer be in production is perhaps most shocking to some. The brand is known for its muscle cars including the once popular Trans Am, which debuted 83 years ago.—ZH
