Kanye West’s request to postpone his upcoming arraignment was recently
approved and rescheduled by a Los Angeles judge for a day in May. The
“Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper is facing three misdemeanor charges after
he and his road manager smashed an invasive photographer’s cameras at the Los Angeles International Airport on September 22, 2008. His lawyers, who were able to schedule the arraignment for May 20, say they are awaiting additional
evidence from prosecutors. West was charged with battery, grand theft
and vandalism while his road manager has been charged with only two
misdemeanor charges.
