Founding member of Philadelphia soul group the Delfonics Randy Cain has died at the age of 63. Cain, who formed the group with William and Wilbert Hart, was found in his Maple Shade, New Jersey, home on Thursday. The cause of death has yet to be determined. The Philly native won a Grammy with the Delfonics in 1970 and left the group the following year only to return in the 1980s. The Delfonics is best known for their hits “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time” and “La-La (Means I Love You),” which help define the Philadelphia Sound.—PS
