Ethiopian beauty Liya Kebede, the face of J-Crew’s latest catalog, has teamed up with the retail giant to distribute her clothing line, LemLem. The collection first started off as a children’s line, but now features women’s accessories with designs and patterns from her native country. “I wanted to do something cute to start. The colors were really beautiful, fresh and very ethnic, with a little bit of everything,” Kebede tells the New York Daily News. Each LemLem piece is handmade and exported from Ethiopia and will be sold by J-Crew online at J-Crew.com and via their catalog.-QS
