As the music world still buzzes on what’s next for Chris Brown and Rihanna, a veteran in the business is making headlines for similar reasons. Long-time “Soul Train” host, Don Cornelius, 72, pleaded no contest to charges of misdemeanor spousal battery after he was arrested in November 2008 for assault with a deadly weapon and dissuading a witness, according to the Associated Press. He received three years of probation and must attend a domestic violence course for a year. Cornelius and his wife, Victoria remain together. -CJ
