Congress and the White House finally came to a mutual understand this week regarding the proposed economic stimulus package. The $790 billion package will help create jobs, provide tax relief for middle-class families, more money in unemployment benefits, food stamps, health coverage and allow Americans to start spending more, according to The Associated Press. President Obama could sign the measure within days, but there is still some hesitancy felt by Republicans in Congress who believe the bill promotes wasteful government spending.-WLW
