The holidays are full of miracles, and on Christmas Eve, actor Michael Jai White and his wife, Dr. Courtenay Chatman, received an early blessing—a healthy baby girl, Morgan Michelle, weighing 5 pounds and 5 ounces, at 8:34 P.M. PT, in Los Angeles. This is the couple's first child together; White has two sons and Chatman has three children from a previous relationship.
Now that daddy has a little girl, White can't help but be a doting father, even when Morgan awakes for a midnight feeding. "I welcome every cry, whimper and movement, and I don't think there's any noise she's gong to make that I'll ever get tired of," says White, the star of "Wonderland," a medical drama on Direct TV's 101 network. "I'm in love like you would never believe." And her mom echoes those sentiments. "We love her!" says Chatman, an OB-GYN doctor who has delivered more than a 1000 babies herself thinks "she is the most precious baby, but we are partial though."
White who has appeared in such blockbusters as "The Dark Knight" and Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" recently starred, wrote and produced the indie film "Black Dynamite."
