President-elect Barack Obama recently met with a number of major donors to his Presidential Inaugural Committee. In a more lighthearted moment, Obama shared a story about his daughters Malia and Sasha with the group, according to the Washington Post. Obama had taken his daughters to the Lincoln Memorial a few nights earlier where 7-year-old Sasha stared at Lincoln’s second inaugural address etched in stone and remarked at how long it was. She then asked her father if his speech was going to be that long, where her sister Malia, 10, replied, “First African-American president better be good.”—WLW
