Black Ministers Rally Behind Politician for Obama’s Senate Seat

The tangled web of Illinois politics continues to unravel as area preachers came out in the dozens to support Roland Burris as he travels to Washington, D.C., to claim his Senate seat appointed by Governor Rod Blagojevich, according to the Associated Press. Blagojevich continues to serve under a cloud of suspicion and federal charges stemming from allegations that he tried to sell the seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama.
