Roots: African-Americans Can Track Lineage's Trip to America


After 40 years of research and the efforts of hundreds of intellectuals, African-Americans can now track the journey their ancestors made on slave ships from the 1500's and beyond, according to the Chicago Tribune. The records of more than 10 million enslaved men and women will be available online for free use and will also be available for use in schools.
