As a result of singer Sean Levert’s death while serving time in jail, a new policy has been proposed that more leniencies be given to inmates who take prescribed medication, according to ABC. This comes after Angela Lowe, Levert’s widow, filed a wrongful death lawsuit in June when he was denied his Xanax. Levert was in a Cleveland county jail for failure to pay child support in March 2008 when he became ill and died.
