Detroit's Decline: Black Workers Hit Hardest

Nearly 20, 000 African American workers in the auto industry have lost their jobs and the number continues to grow, according to the New York Times. The rapid decline in employment comes in the midst of Detroit's auto calamity and the bailout bust. African Americans make more money in the auto business than in any other corporation and are hit the hardest in an economic catastrophe.
