Major television networks have been called out by the NAACP for their lack of diversity among actors, managers and directors, according to the Los Angeles Times. The association plans to reiterate an agreement made in 2000, requesting networks to add minorities to acting roles and decision-making positions. The NAACP will boycott or file a class-action lawsuit against the networks if changes fail to be made. President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous says the problem will improve immensely when African-Americans are hired in executive positions.
