Black History: America's Oldest Man Dies at 112

George Francis defied statistics on the life span of Black men and was the country's oldest man at 112 years old. Francis, who saw 19 presidents, died of heart failure this weekend, according to the Los Angeles Times. Born in New Orleans in 1896, Francis overcame the harsh realities of Jim Crow and was excited to cast his vote for Barack Obama in November.
