President-elect Barack Obama and his family spent Christmas Eve morning remembering his late grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, 86, Reuters reports. Dunham, the woman who made the nation’s next president believe in miracles, died from cancer two days before Obama’s historic win in November. Following a private service, Obama released her ashes off the coast of Hawaii, the same place he scattered his mothers’ in 1995. The Obama family will continue their two-week vacation in Hawaii.
