University of Phoenix, famous for their online courses, announced yesterday that more minority students earn degrees from their institution than from any other university in the nation. The school based their findings on data from Diverse Issues in Higher Education, a news magazine. The national index of African-American-enrolled students represented in American colleges and universities is at approximately 12 percent, while the University of Phoenix boasts 24.6 percent of its enrollment represented by African-Americans.
