Study finds chemo easier for Black women, according to a new study

Black women with advanced cervical cancer tolerate platinum-based chemotherapy better than their White counterparts, according to the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Steven C. Plaxe, who helped conduct the research said, "Our results support efforts directed at encouraging enrollment of minorities into clinical studies."
