Following Obama's victory, U.K. on quest to find Black role models


Now that Barack Obama is less than 50 days away from taking office as the first Black president, the United Kingdom is suddenly committed to inspiring Black boys in their country. The country's communities secretary Hazel Blears released a press release yesterday announcing a new program to encourage underperforming young men and boys of color with 20 Black male role models. More than 200 professional Black men have been reviewed to pick the best role models in the country.
