Toni Braxton Says Competition Helped With Chronic Heart Condition

Comments

Grammy winner Toni Braxton will no longer two-step on “Dancing With the Stars” with her professional partner, Alec Mazo. The pair got booted Tuesday from ABC’s highly-rated dancing competition.
Despite the dismissal, the singer said the exhausting rehearsals and challenging dances kept her in shape. Also, she said the workout exercises helped her heart condition, a coronary microvascular angina.
Braxton told the Associated Press, “My goal was reached,” adding, “I wanted to do better. I wanted to breathe better. And I was definitely breathing better. I’ve come a long way from week one.”
