The University of North Carolina in Wilmington is offering a class for credit for next year’s spring semester called Effective Interactions with African-American Males in both the social work and education departments, according to Townhall.com. The course is designed for undergraduate and graduate students to better understand and how to effectively work with young Black males. In the course description it states that “students will critically examine the social and emotional effects of racism on academic, occupational, cultural and relational well-being of African-American males.”
