Comments

MTV’s Choose or Lose campaign and CNN are coming together to celebrate the men and women who serve our country proudly. "A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE" will include live performances by 50 Cent and Ludacris as well as appearances by Beyonce, Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson, Common, Fat Joe and a host of others. The special is designed to mobilize support for the newest generation of younger veterans and will include personal stories of triumph and struggle with healthcare, education, employment and other issues. MTV President Van Toffler told MTV.com: "It doesn't matter where you stand on the war — we can all agree that young veterans serving our country must receive the benefits they've earned for their sacrifices."
The concert special will be hosted by MTV personality Sway and air on October 24. On October 25 and 26, CNN will air "Anderson Cooper 360: Back from the Battle," highlighting some of the challenges young veterans have faced as they return home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
